Motivate your child
As a parent, you play a key role in motivating and supporting your child. Find the guidance you need to lay the foundations for success.
At Coloplast, we are dedicated to helping people find a better path to bowel control*, with a better quality of life, with Peristeen® Plus system. When your child gets started with Peristeen Plus, the first few weeks or months may be challenging as your child is getting used to a different type of bowel management. We are here to offer advice on how to motivate and support your child, with tips on how to build the basics and establish a routine.
Motivational Activities
When your child is enrolled in Coloplast® Care patient support program, they will receive an activity pack that includes a Star Chart to track each successful irrigation, and a sticker pack to personalize their Peristeen Plus system and star chart. You can decide how stars are earned, for example, when your child cooperates during the process or when your child performs some of the steps independently.
Extra stickers or Star Charts can be requested from Coloplast Care. Simply call 1-866-293-6349 or email casupport@coloplast.ca
