Getting to grips with TAI

When you start with transanal irrigation (TAI), this is new for both you and your bowel. Therefore, it may take a little time before you have optimized your routine and got your bowels used to regular irrigations. If you have some issues at the start, this is OK and perfectly natural. For some people, it takes between 4-12 weeks to establish a reliable and effective routine with TAI.

Use our short guides
