The Peristeen Plus TAI portfolio comes with two types of catheters compatible with the system: balloon catheter in two sizes (regular and small) and a cone catheter. Your healthcare professional will help you choose the catheter most suitable for your needs. Peristeen Plus with balloon catheter will usually be the choice for most of the users, especially if you have low hand function. Peristeen Plus with cone catheter is designed for users, who have a good hand dexterity, but struggle with bowel symptoms after a having surgery to their rectum.
